John Ziobro was the Kennewick City Attorney from 1999-2007 where he gained valued experience in the land use and planning process. In addition to providing general counsel to city departments, he also advised the city on a variety of employment matters. He continues to represent both employers and employees on diverse employment matters.
John currently represents several developers and private individuals on an array of Land use matters, including comprehensive plan amendments and appeals, zoning changes and disputes, conditional use permits, plat approval, and boundary line adjustments. The development process also lends itself to serving clients on real estate transactions, leases, and business formation.
As the City Attorney, John developed a relationship with law enforcement that continues to this day. He has served as the administrator for the State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police and represents law enforcement throughout the state on a variety of employment and civil matters.
John also has an active civil litigation practice that involves complex litigation, business disputes, construction related litigation, contract disputes, land use, and employment matters.
